How do i change the thread view?
Go into your usercp, then into 'edit options' and scroll down to Thread Display Options. At the bottom of this option set is a 'Thread View Style' option. If you prefer user options on the left instead of on top, you can set that here.
How Do Reputations Work?
Giving Reputations
Check someone's post for this icon:
If you click on that, a window will pop up where you can approve (positive rep) or disapprove (negative rep) of a users post. You'll also have the opportunity to post a comment as to why you approved or disapproved. If you've accumulated reputation points, those will be added to the users earned reputation.
Where is your reputation?
Look for the little
icon next to your post count. If you mouse over it, you'll see what your reputation is. On the first page of your user cp, you should see the last 8 reputation comments people have made. Just to the right of where it says 'Reputation Received', you'll see how many points you've earned thus far.
How Do You Get Reputation Points to Give Out?
You get points dependent on different factors. For instance a couple factors... you get 1 point per every year registered on the forum, you get a point for every 1000 posts you've tallied... things like that. You can only give out reputation after earning at least 10 points of reputation.
