Go Go's
Vacation
(Reviewed by Iluvthe80s):
This
1982 album I have had since it was new (yes, even on vinyl). I was a big
Go-Go's fan then. This album has been played lots.
The Go-Go's actually started out as a punk band but later changed their
sound. You can still hear the punk influence in lots of their songs.
This album
was not as successful as their debut "Beauty And The Beat" but
it still spawned some hits: "Vacation" and "Get Up And
Go". This is a happy, upbeat album to listen to when you need something
to cheer you up. My favorite tracks on this album are: "Worlds Away",
"Vacation", and "It's Everything But Partytime".
Tracks:
1. Vacation
2. He's So Strange
3. Girl Of 100 Lists
4. We Don't Get Along
5. I Think It's Me
6. It's Everything But Partytime
7. Get Up And Go
8. This Old Feeling
9. Cool Jerk
10. The Way You Dance
11. Beatnik Beach
12. World's Away
Response
to this review by Dark Wave): This is a fun album...to
listen to while watching Belinda Carlisle nude pictures of playboy magazine.
Just joking.
