Tina Turner has to be one of the best women in popular music. She puts so much energy into all her albums and from what i've seen on TV, her shows too. Private Dancer is another one of those albums with lots of energy and an album where every song just stands out on its own. This album spawned numerous hits with "Private Dancer", "Better Be Good To Me", the remake of an Al Green classic "Let's Stay Together", and of course the ever popular "What's Love Got To Do With It".
This album has a mix of soul and rock which can appeal to a mass audience. Definately one of Tina's best! My track picks for this album are: "Better Be Good To Me", "Private Dancer", "I Might Have Been Queen".
