Yaz
Upstairs
at Eric's (Reviewed by DarkWave):
Take
Alison Moyet deep "kind of blues" voice adding Vince Clarke
synth pop golden touch and you have a superb electronic album. Such songs
as Only You, Situation, Goodbye Seventies are now classics. The whole
album have a bizarre feeling, I don't know how to express that, just love
it. If you love "robotic melody", then listen to this album!
It's amazing. Yaz next album is even better.

Man): I have the UK import of this CD where
the rest of the world knows this band as :Yazoo
I was never too fond of the Us version because I always hated the song
I Before E Except After C. The UK version also has 2 songs not included
on the US version. Those songs are:Tuesday and The Other Side Of Love(12").
PLus, the version of Situation on the UK version is the 12" remixed
by Francois Kervorkian). I have had this CD in my collection since the
mid 80s . Regardless of which version you have it is truly a classic.
