ZZ Top
Eliminator
(Reviewed by Iluvthe80s):
This
1983 album was one of ZZ Top's biggest albums. It included the hits "Gimme
All Your Lovin", "Sharp Dressed Man", "Legs",
and "Got Me Under Pressure". I remember seeing the video for
"TV Dinners" on MTV also.
This album is a fine rock album. It is sometimes hard to believe ZZ Top
is just a 3 piece band. A definate classic 80's album for a rock lover.
Tracks:
1. Gimme
All Your Lovin
2. Got Me Under Pressure
3. Sharp Dressed Man
4. I Need You Tonight
5. I Got The Six
6. Legs
7. Thug
8. TV Dinners
9. Dirty Dog
10. If I Could Only Flag Her Down
11. Bad Girl
Response
to this review by Trixter:
'Eliminator' was the best and most commercial work ZZ Top
has done to date. Five recognizable hits with accompanied visuals, via
courtesy of MTV, the band were propelled into the spotlight and obtained
instant success, too bad it was short-lived. My favorite tracks are "Legs",
"Gimme All Your Loving'" and "Sharp Dressed Man".
This is an album that I could play over and over, hey as a matter of fact
I'll do that right now....
